Bruce Lang

Bruce Lang is a news reporter and anchor and producer with KPAY-AM. Previously, he was News Director at KHSL TV in Chico-Redding, California from 1988-2000 and prior to that was News Director at KIEM TV in Eureka, California from 1983 to 1988.

From 1979-1981, Bruce was a staff reporter and photographer at the Humboldt Life and Times Newspaper and then moved onto become News Director at KINS AM, the CBS radio affiliate in Eureka, California.

Bruce and his staff won the Associated Press award for best 30-Minute Newscast in 1983, 1984, 1988 and 1990. KHSL-TV was voted Best Local Newscast by the Chico News and Review from 1996-2000, and Bruce himself won best feature reporting from the in 1985 and 1995, best commentary in 1994 and 1996, best editing in 1996, all from the Associated Press, and also the C. Everett Koop Award for Best Medical Reporting in California in 1996.
