LUCK AND RICHARDSON MAKE THEIR WAY TO CANDLESTICK POINT

The San Francisco 49ers had to change their game plan for the Indianapolis Colts mid-week. With Trent Richardson being traded by the Cleveland Browns to the Colts, all of a sudden Indy has a running game. The Niners are trying to bounce back after a demoralizing 29-3 loss to Seattle last Sunday night. The Colts come in with a record of 1-1 as well. Kick-off slated for 1:15pm on Sunday.

TALL ORDER FOR RAIDERS IN MONDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN

The Oakland Raiders will have the toughest of tasks as they take on the Denver Broncos on Monday night. The Raiders disposed of the woeful Jacksonville Jaguars 19-9 last Sunday, while Denver went into MetLife Stadium and beat up on the New York Giants 41-23. The Raiders will have to pressure Peyton Manning into mistakes if they expect to hang with Denver in this one. Kick-off will be Monday night at 5:30.

MAGIC NUMBER IS 4 FOR ATHLETICS

The Oakland Athletics magic number to clinch the American League West is 4 after last night's 8-6 win over the Twins. Coco Crisp hit his 21st home run to break a 6-all tie and give the A's the win. Any combination of A's wins and Rangers losses totaling 4 this weekend nets the Athletics their second straight AL West title.

GIANTS AND YANKEES MEET IN NEW YORK
