The hope is to break the record for the longest concert by multiple artists. Band members began April First and are playing around the clock at Down Lo in downtown Chico for 17 days in hopes of breaking the record. They reportedly hoped to break the record last year but attempts failed--so they're at it again.

There's also talk that the organizer wants for the idea to spread--so next year on April First dozens of bands around the country will start a concert at the same time on April First.
