Word is Chico Country Day School went into lockdown about 2:25 Tuesday afternoon. According to a dispatcher, there was never any sight or display of a weapon whatsoever. Chico Police chose to put the school on lockdown as they pursued a suspect. He is described as a black male with dreadlocks. All students and staff are in class at this time.
