An officer stopped a vehicle at the 7-11 on Monte Vista Avenue around 10:30 am Thursday. When the officer approached the vehicle the driver reportedly took off leading the officer on a chase through a residential area. The suspect's vehicle hit the curb causing tire damage. Three people allegedly got out of the car and took off on foot. The driver, 18-year-old Jesse Marroquin was caught and arrested. He was charged for felony evading and driving without a license. He also had a felony warrant out for his arrest at the time of the incident.
