The Baker Fire stared near Baker and Plymire roads north west of Red Bluff around 6 pm Wednesday. The blaze burned 80 acres of dry grass and oak woodland and is 100 percent contained now, according to CalFire. The fire threatened homes in the area and there was an evacuation order, but Fire crews were able to quickly stop the blaze's forward progress. Officials are still looking into what caused it.
