Saddle Fire Latest

Fire activity is slowing for a blaze south of Paradise. The Saddle Fire started off of Pentz Road and Lime Saddle Road as five fires. The blaze has burned 850 acres and is 50 percent contained. 3 structures have been destroyed and 300 are threatened by the blaze.  
 
There are still evacuation orders in place for Pentz Road from Malibu Drive to Missilla Valley Road and all roads connectin to Pentz Road and there are evacuation orders for Concow Road from Highway 70 to Jordan Hill Road along with Granite Ridge Road and Deadwood Road. Along with Pinkston Cayon Road and all roads off of it as well as Nelson Bar Road. 
 
There are evacuaton warnings in effect for Pentz Road from Malibu Drive to Canyon View Drive. 
 
There is an evacuation shelter at the Nieghborhood Church of Chico on Notre Dame Blvd.
A small animal shelter is located at 2279 Del Oro Avenue in Oroville and there's a large animal shelter at 1985 Clark Road. 
 
There are road closures for Pentz Road from Pearson Road to Messilla Valley Road and Lunt Road at Highway 70.
 
According to Cal Fire, containment lines are increasing as the fire activity slows down.
