Progress continues to be made in containing the Saddle Fire.

The blaze has burned more than 850 acres along the west branch of the Feather River and is now 70 percent contained. It started as five fires off of Pentz and Lime Saddle roads on Monday afternoon. Four of those fires reportedly burned together and jumped to the other side of the water - burning both sides of the water. The blaze destroyed 3 structures and had threatend hundreds of homes, but all evactuations have been lifted. All road closures have been lifted as well. 
According to Cal Fire, full contianment is expected by Saturday evening.
