Officers responded to multiple reports of gunshots heard along West East Avenue near Harvest Park Court around 2:30 am Sunday. Witnesses told police that they heard two vehicles speed off after the shots were fired. Officers located several spent shell casings in the roadway but no injuries were reported. West East Avenue was closed for about an hour while police investigated the scene. Police say the suspects and the motive for the gunshots fired are unknown.
