PINOLE, Calif. (AP) — A hazardous materials spill of ammonia and bleach sent three San Francisco Bay Area officers to the hospital and crews scrambling to clean up the mess. KNTV reports Contra Costa Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Lou Manzo says about five gallons of ammonia and seven pints of bleach spilled from a vehicle at the Pinole Vista Shopping Center near Interstate Highway 80 late Monday evening. The cause of the spill was not immediately known.
