A rape case that's more than 10 years old ends in a guilty verdict. The case stems from an incident in April of 2004. The victim was 16 at the time and claims she woke up in an alcoholic stupor and was allegedly being sexually assaulted. Her mother brought the matter to authorities and the suspect, identified as 43 year old Demetrio Garcia reportedly fled the area. He returned to Chico in April of 2015 and was arrested soon after. Garcia was found guilty by a jury this week of the crime.
