A pedestrian is injured after reportedly being struck by a train in Chico. Officers and emergency personnel arrived to the railroad tracks near West 4th Avenue to find a woman near the tracks with major injuries before 9 pm Thursday. The unidentified woman, in her twenties, was said to be conscious and talking. She was taken to Enloe Medical Center. According to a Chico Police Department press release, her injuries, although major, do not appear to be life-threatening.
