An early morning wildfire in the Bangor area has prompted evacuations. Cal Fire Butte County reported being at the scene of the LaPorte Fire around 2 am this morning off of LaPorte Road and at last report the blaze had burned around 300 acres.

There are evacuation orders for all of LaPorte Road and roads off of LaPorte from Rob Mill Road south to Dunstone.
There are also evacuation orders for all of Los Verjeles Road & Oro Bangor from Yuba County line to Avocado Road.
