The Cherokee Fire started Sunday in the Cherokee area north of Oroville. The blaze has burned over 83 hundred acres and is 45 percent contained. Cal fire says the size of the fire has changed due to updated mapping.

 

Cherokee Rd has been downgraded to an Evacuation Warning.

 

All other orders and warnings have been lifted.
