Fire crews are dealing with steep and rugged terrain while battling a wildfire in south Butte County. The La Porte Fire which is part of the greater Wind Complex of wildfires started in the Bangor area. The blaze has burned 3,700 acres and is 15 percent contained. 

According to Cal Fire, ground crews, along with air support, continue to actively engage in suppressing spot fires around the perimeter of the blaze.
