Police are on the lookout for suspects in a stabbing at a party in downtown Chico. Witnesses say three black men and two black women reportedly attempted to force their way into a party at a residence on West 6th Street about 11:15 Thursday night. Police say when the group was denied access to the party they allegedly began punching party guests which then led to a fight. During the fight one of the suspects stabbed a party guest in the leg. According to a Chico Police press release, the victim lost a lot of blood and became incoherent and disoriented. A tourniquet was applied to the victim before he was taken to the hospital for treatment. Witnesses say the suspects fled in a white Honda Civic.
