The first robbery took place at East Avenue Liquor after 11:30 Monday night when a man entered the store with a bandanna covering his and armed with a handgun. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk described the suspect as a white male around 5 feet, 10 inches tall.

The second robbery happened after 11 Tuesday night at All the Best Video on Cohasset Road when a man wearing a mask and armed with a handgun entered the store demanding money. According to a Chico Police Department press release, officers arrived seconds after the report, but the suspect had already fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. That suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall with an average build.
