A suspect in an assault in Chico is arrested this morning. The assault was reported about 2:30 this morning on the 33 hundred block of Bordero Lane. The victim told officers that a man allegedly entered his vehicle and was tampering with the interior. When the victim confronted the man who reportedly fled the vehicle with the victim chasing after him. Suspect allegedly struck the victim on the head with a wrench. The victim took himself to the hospital for a laceration to the head. Officers located the suspect, identified as 34-year-old Jeremy Miller hiding behind a vehicle. According to a Chico Police Department press release, Miller was arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon, felony possession of ammunition by a prohibited, person possession of burglary tools, and violation of parole.
