Magalia Arrests

Two Magalia men were arrested Saturday Night after being spotted acting suspiciously at a business destroyed by the Camp Fire. Sheriffs Deputies said they contacted the two men in the parking lot of Discount Liquor Store in Magalia after allegedly being seen carrying stolen property from the burnt rubble of the store. The two were identified as 52 year old David Blood and 51 year old Kenneth Zimmerman. According to a Butte County Sheriff's Office press release, deputies also found a loaded handgun in the suspects' vehicle and when they tried to detain Blood, he allegedly punched one of the deputies. He also reportedly threatened to kill them.
