Alleged robbers in Chico lured their victim using a dating app. Officers arrived to the Timber Creek Apartments on West 5th Street just after 8:30 Saturday night where they found a man who said he had been robbed at knife point. The victim told officers that he went to the apartment to meet with a woman he had met through a dating app. Once inside the man was allegedly held at knife point by the woman and another man where they reportedly demanded money. According to a Chico Police press release, that the victim suffered a small cut to the neck as he escaped. Officers found and arrested Madison Wiltshire and Keoni Lewis, both 21-years-old. They were both charged with robbery and assault, among other charges.
