A wanted felon is arrested after a pursuit in south Chico. Officers arrived in an unmarked vehicle at the parking lot of Kohl's before 6 Sunday evening in order to contact a man suspected in a burglary. When the officers identified themselves the suspect reportedly fled in a Ford F-150 pickup. A second marked police sergeant's vehicle attempted to make a traffic stop on Springfield Drive however, the suspect allegedly fled across the median and rammed the front of the sergeant's police vehicle. He then reportedly drove against traffic, but didn't get very far due to damage to the truck. The suspect, identified as Brian Loo then fled on foot but was quickly caught by officers. Loo was allegedly found in possession of the stolen property.

According to a Chico Police Department press release, Loo has an extensive criminal history in Butte and Napa counties.
