Chico Police Officers responded to the area of Notre Dame Blvd and Morrow Lane where they found a man suffering from stab wound to his abdomen around 10:30 Saturday night. The victim was allegedly stabbed after an argument with the suspect turned into a fight. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries. The suspect was identified as Sterling Steinmetz and he was arrested around 4 Sunday afternoon, this according to a Chico Police Department press release.
