Police arrest a suspect in two separate stabbing incidents at the same Chico apartment complex. Officers arrived at an apartment complex on the seven hundred block of Nord Avenue after 10 Monday night where they reportedly found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. Police say the victim was taken to the hospital for life threatening injuries. Then around 7 Tuesday morning while detectives at the scene, Chico Police received a report of another stabbing that had just occurred in the same apartment complex. According to a Chico Police Department press release, officers searched the area and found the suspect, identified as 33-year-old James Jacobs reportedly hiding in a shed of a residence on Stewart Avenue. Jacobs was charged with two counts of attempted homicide. Both victim are listed in stable condition at the hospital.
