Police responded to a report of shoplifting at the Chico Home Depot Tuesday. Witnesses told officers that one of the suspects fled the area on foot and the other took off in a car. Officers found 41-year-old Hans Russell nearby and 36-year-old Catherine Russell was found in a vehicle attempting to leave the scene. According to Chico Police, both were taken into custody without incident and were both positively identified by employees as being the alleged suspects.
