Magalia Dog Attack

A dog attack in the Magalia area leads to the quarantine of numerous dogs by the County's Animal Control Officer. Thursday Morning just before 9 Butte Deputies responded to reports of a large pack of dogs on the 66 hundred block of Rosewood Drive in Magalia. The dogs reportedly belonged to 64 year old Peter Ricca of Magalia who was in court for earlier complaints of his dogs. According to a Butte County Sheriff's Office press release, nine of the dogs responsible for the attacks were seized and quarantined by Animal Control The four other dogs were quarantined at the scene under the care of the owners.
