A 31 year old Oroville man is in custody on murder charges stemming from a killing two years ago in Oroville. Butte Sheriff's Deputies Tuesday arrested Jeffrey Parish for the October 2017 murder of Lorenzo Paz the Second. He was taken into custody on the 26 hundred block of V 6 Road in Oroville.

According to a Butte County Sheriff's press release, Paz was found inside an Oroville home back in October 2017, the victim of a gunshot wound. Authorities continue their investigation.
