A 14 year old from the area has been identified as the suspect seen on surveillance video Sunday afternoon at a Berry Creek School. That according to a Butte County Sheriff's Office press release. The juvenile reportedly admitted to being on school grounds with a pellet rifle but said he had no plans to attack the school. The youth reportedly said he was mimicking some movements from video games and movies. The Sheriff's Department reportedly concludes that this is not a threat to the Berry Creek Elementary School or its students or faculty. However, deputies will continue to monitor the situation.
