Chico police recover a stolen vehicle after a report of shoplifting. Officers arrived to the CVS on Forest Avenue after a female suspect reportedly stole merchandise from the store after 10 Friday morning. An employee told officers that the suspect took off in a Honda Civic driven by a male. Officers looked up the license plate number, provided by the employee, and learned that the Civic had been reported stolen. The Honda was stopped on Highway 99, just north of Entler Avenue. According to a Chico Police Department press release, 24-year-old Dakotah Oreiley the driver of the Honda was arrested for vehicle theft and 19-year-old Feather Funkhouser was arrested for possession of stolen property from CVS and JC Penney.
