An Alleged Shooting Threat at a North State School Sends a Teen to Jail

An officer arrived at Red Bluff Union High School after 8 Monday morning after threats were reported at the school. The officer learned that 18-year-old Thomas Trotter was allegedly told another student that there would be a shooting at the school. Additional officers and investigators arrived and found Trotter in the school library. He was reportedly found in possession of a survival type knife. Trotter's vehicle was then searched where a billy club and another knife were allegedly found. Trotter was arrested for making terrorist threats and for the concealed knife.

Red Bluff Police say that this appears to be an isolated incident and no other students were involved.
