Chico Couple Give Pleas in Butane Honey Oil Case

30-year-old Evan Palmer and 28-year-old Brittany Larsen both plead guilty Wednesday to charges of manufacturing of butane honey oil and for child endangerment.

The charges stem from an explosion that occurred at a home on Burnap Avenue. Detectives allegedly found components of a butane honey oil lab at the home. According to a Butte County District Attorney's Office press release, Palmer and Larsen's five month old daughter was in the house at the time of the explosion, however she was unharmed. She was taken into the custody of county child protective services.

A third suspect Jacob Joseph Levi Lincoln was badly burned in the explosion. He is scheduled to appear in court in May. Palmer faces more than 6 years in prison when he is sentenced in May and Larsen faces 4 years in prison when she is sentenced in June.
