A case of a missing Glenn County man has become a homicide investigation. 26-year-old Brandon Dawson was reported missing under suspicious circumstances from a residence in a rural area of Orland in the early morning hours of March 8th. Detectives from the Glenn Investigative Task Force learned that Dawson allegedly had been involved a dispute with several persons regarding illegal drugs, causing investigators to believe that he had been murdered. Authorities found human remains in the Walker Ridge area of Colusa County. According to a Glenn County Sheriff's Office press release, the remains were identified as Dawson's. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
