Chico Police are investigating shots fired into an occupied vehicle Wednesday evening. Officers responded to 11 hundred block of West 9th Street, after reports of multiple gunshots in the area just before 7 pm. Witnesses told officers that at least one suspect in a white pick up truck allegedly fired at an occupied vehicle. The truck fled the area before officers arrived. Chico Police say fortunately there were no injuries. The shooting is under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Chico Police Department Detective Bureau.
