Glenn County authorities are investigating what they believe to be an arson related murder. Around 7 Thursday morning a barn was reported to be on fire. The Orland Fire Department arrived and found the outbuilding fully engulfed in flames. After firefighters put out the blaze they found what appeared to be a badly charred body amid the burned ruins. According to a Glenn County Sheriff's Office press release, the identity of the deceased person, cause of death and circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown at this time and the investigation continues.
