A man was found by passing motorists near the intersection of West 8th Street and Hazel Street who was bleeding profusely from his leg after 12:30 Sunday morning. Officers arrived and learned that the 34-year-old victim had gotten into a confrontation with several males. According to Chico Police, one of the men allegedly stabbed the victim. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The incident is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chico Police Department at 897-4900 and reference report #19-003007.
