Police are searching for suspects of a robbery and a shooting in Downtown Chico Friday night. Multiple officers responded to the 1100 block of Cedar Street just before 11:30 pm where officers found a man with a single gunshot wound and was sent to the hospital. Another victim was transported to the hospital by a friend. Police say both victims suffered from non-life threatening injuries. Witnesses told officers that a fight ensued over property that was reportedly taken from a person by force. The suspects fled the area with one of them allegedly firing multiple shots in the direction of three people striking two of them, according to a Chico Police Department press release.
