Deputies at the scene say one person was shot and killed at a home on Arbol Avenue near Olive Highway around 3:30 am. Another person was injured and taken to the hospital. Authorities say there were children at the home, but they are safe and unharmed.

The case is under investigation, but no reports if any suspects have been found.
