Chico Police received a report of a burglary after 3 Thursday afternoon at an apartment complex on North Cherry Street. Police were told that the suspect allegedly entered the apartment and tased the resident several times before the victim was able to flee. Officers arrived and reportedly found the suspect leaving the residence. Officers allegedly found a taser on the suspect, identified as 34-year-old Lawrence Studyvin along with property belonging to the victim. According to the Chico Police Department, Studyvin was arrested for home invasion robbery, assault with a deadly weapon along with other related charges.
