Chico Police received several calls of shots heard near the intersection of East 10th and Palm avenues around 9:30 pm. Officers arrived and began canvassing the area but could not locate a victim or a suspect. Police say about an hour and 15 minutes later, a 24-year-old man walked into Enloe Medical Center reportedly suffering from a gunshot wound. He was treated for a non-life threatening wound and is listed in stable condition. According to police, the victim acknowledged that the shooting occurred near Palm Avenue.
