Police, Fire, and EMS personnel arrived to the Chico K-Mart parking lot near the intersection of Pillsbury and Cohasset roads after reports of a man who had climbed 25 feet up a tree and appeared to be agitated. Witnesses told officers that it looked as though the man might fall or jump out of the tree. A fire truck deployed a ladder and officers convinced the man to come down. The man, identified as 52-year-old Mark Lee was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested.
