Gallagher announced Wednesday that he was able to secure an amendment to a budget bill that will ensure backfill funding for Camp Fire impacted charter schools in the Paradise ridge area. According to Gallagher's office, without this backfill, impacted school districts could have lost anywhere between 3 million and 11 million dollars for this school year and between 12 and 36 million for the next school year. Gallagher says it's crucial to the economic recovery of Paradise and other affected areas.
