Officers were called out to Kohl's and Springfield Drive before 7 Sunday night after a man was allegedly seen shoplifting merchandise from the store. An employee pointed out the suspect to officers who attempted to detain the suspect. The man reportedly struggled with officers. Police say the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Mark Bailey was eventually taken into custody. According to Chico Police, Bailey and the an officer sustained minor injuries during the struggle.
