PG&E began restoring power Monday to customers impacted by the Public Safety Power Shutoff. However, PG&E has now started another round of power outages starting this morning and will go through Wednesday. PG&E said the first wave has started and has impacted portions of Butte, Tehama, Shasta, Plumas, and Trinity counties. The utility will then continue throughout the day to turn off power to the rest of the counties, affecting 29 counties total and some 605 thousand customers.
According to PG&E, some areas that have not had their power restored may have to wait until Friday before their power is turned back on.
