Motorist can expect delays next week as crews repair portions of Cherokee Road. Butte County Public Works will be replacing two failing 12-inch culverts on Cherokee Road. The repairs will take place from Monday through Wednesday next week from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and will affect the area of Cherokee Road between Dutzel and Patterson lanes. According to Butte County officials, the roadway will be open, but motorists can expect delays around 15 minutes. Officials are encouraging residents to use alternate routes if possible.
