Police received a report of a physical fight between a homeless man and a security officer at the AM PM on the Esplanade around 1:45 Saturday afternoon. Officers arrived and contacted the man, who they ordered to the ground. However, the man reportedly backed into the store where he continued to ignore officers. He was finally taken into custody, however, he allegedly gave a false name. Officers later learned his true identity as 34-year-old Jeremy Underwood. He was arrested for resisting arrest and providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
