32-year-old Jeffrey Parrish Jr. was found guilty Friday of 1st degree murder in the 2017 shooting death of 21-year-old Lorenzo Paz Jr. who was found dead at his Greenville Street home. During the investigation it was learned that Parrish told multiple people about Paz's murder and that he bragged about his death on social media. Parrish told authorities that Paz owed him money.

Parrish's sentencing hearing is set for January when he faces 25 years to life in prison.
