Officers arrived at the Transit Center on 2nd Street where they found a man suffering from a laceration on his knee after 11:30 Tuesday morning. The victim said he had been in a verbal argument with someone while getting off the bus which he said then escalated into a physical fight. The suspect reportedly slashed the man and then took off on foot. Officers found 39-year-old Daisy Caspary who was identified as the suspect and was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. According to the Chico Police Department, the victim's wound is not life threatening.
