A man with a fire arm allegedly walked into Boot Barn on East Avenue at The Esplanade around 5:45 Monday evening. The suspect then reportedly ordered employees and customers to the ground and demanded money from the cashier. Detectives say he then took off with an unspecified amount of money. According to the Chico Police Department, the robbery happened during a busy time of the day and that any one who may have been in the area and saw something suspicious to please call the Detective Bureau at (530) 897-5820.
