Members of the public are welcome to attend the ceremony which will take place in front of the Bidwell Mansion at 525 The Esplanade at 6:30 pm Wednesday. The Chico Police Department Chaplin will give an invocation, there will be remarks from local law enforcement, candle lighting, and the reading of the names of officers and K-9 officers who lost their lives in the line of duty in the United States.
