A 45 year old man is in custody on burglary and other charges. A security guard reported Friday morning that a man had allegedly broken into a club house at an apartment complex on 1661 Forest Avenue. After refusing to come out a K-9 was used to apprehend the suspect, identified as David Markoe. According to Chico Police, Markoe was bitten by the K-9 but sustained only minor injuries. He was arrested for burglary, resisting a peace officer and assaulting a Police K-9.
