Reports of yelling and gunfire send to police to a Chico neighborhood Sunday night. Officers arrived to the 16 hundred block of Filbert Avenue before 6:30 pm where they found a man being detained by a neighbor. Officers also reportedly found a firearm in the yard of one of the homes in the area. Officers learned that 52-year-old Michael Marzolf had allegedly shot and killed a dog before going to his neighbor's residence and fired several more shots into the house.
